This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take a key role within a quality-driven hotel environment. Working closely alongside the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager will help lead the business day to day, ensuring smooth operations, high standards, and an exceptional guest experience across all departments.
Deputy General Manager Ideal Profile:
An experienced hospitality leader with exposure to multi department operations
Confident managing Front of House, Food and Beverage and accommodation teams
Commercially minded with an understanding of budgets, margins and performance
Guest focused with consistently high standards for service and presentation
Calm, organised and decisive in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about developing people and building strong team culture
Deputy General Manager Responsibilities:
Supporting the General Manager in the overall leadership and strategic direction of the business
Overseeing day to day operations across all departments to ensure smooth service delivery
Leading teams on shift, setting the standard for service, professionalism and guest care
Driving consistency in guest experience through attention to detail and proactive management
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members
Managing rotas, staffing levels and labour efficiency in line with business needs
Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with confidence and professionalism
Assisting with financial controls, stock management and cost awareness across departments
