Overview
An excellent job opportunity has arisen within the Digital / eHealth Dept. of NHS Golden Jubilee University Hospital. As an IT Support Technician, you will play a key role in the support of the eHealth/Digital Services within the Board, which comprises the Golden Jubilee University Hospital, Research Institute, Innovation Centre & Conference Hotel.
Key Responsibilities
You will be part of the IT Service Desk and Customer Support Team and provide 1 & 2 Line Support, addressing customer problems and logging incidents and requests through the Service Desk application. You will carry out routine support tasks in line with departmental standards and procedures, joining a team of dedicated support professionals who take pride in the standard of service they provide to their customers.
Qualifications
Applicants must be educated in a related computing subject or demonstrate relevant experience in field-based support. Extensive knowledge of supporting the Microsoft product range, including cloud-based products, and knowledge of the ITIL Service Management framework is desired. Excellent communication skills are essential, in addition to working well as part of a larger team.
