Class 2 Driver - Waste Collection (Commercial & Domestic)
Location: Near Penrith
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Occasional weekend work available
Pay Rates
Standard Rate: £15.85 per hour
Overtime (after 8 hours): £22.19 per hour
Bank Holidays: £31.70 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join a well-established waste collection team based near Penrith. This role involves both commercial and domestic waste collection and offers consistent weekday hours with excellent overtime opportunities.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for long-term work within a supportive team environment, with the chance to progress into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out commercial and domestic waste collections safely and efficiently
* Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Following all company health & safety procedures
* Providing a professional service to customers and the public
* Ensuring routes are completed on time
Requirements
* Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous waste collection experience is beneficial but not essential
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards
