They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an AAT Trainee Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about pursuing a career in accountancy and is eager to learn and develop their skills within a supportive environment. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting senior accountants with various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and tax returns.
* Supporting the payroll and VAT processes.
* Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
* Utilizing accounting software and tools to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
* Participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
* Adhering to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A strong interest in pursuing a career in accountancy.
* AAT qualification or currently studying towards AAT qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
