Financial Compliance Specialist - Audit & Accounting
1. Contract: 6-month FTC / Temp-to-Perm
2. Salary: £45,000-£55,000
3. Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid - Month 1 onsite for induction, then 1-2 days WFH)
About the Role
We're looking for a Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing statutory audits and ensuring robust financial governance. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with external auditors (PwC) and internal teams across procurement, accounting, controlling, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
4. Lead and coordinate the annual statutory audit process, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
5. Prepare or support the production of Statutory Accounts for multiple entities (4 sets).
6. Build strong relationships with Group Head Office in Hamburg, including Group Accounting.
7. Provide cover for the Credit and Risk function when required.
What We're Looking For
8. Degree-level education (finance-related preferred) or ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
9. Proven experience in audit and statutory accounts preparation.
10. Strong IT skills, ideally with SAP experience.
11. Excellent understanding of financial controls and commercial business processes.
12. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
