This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, contribute to departmental growth, and support junior team members as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a full caseload of civil and commercial disputes, including contract disputes, professional negligence, property litigation, and debt recovery. • Handle matters through all stages from pre-action to trial, including mediation and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate. • Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide mentorship to junior staff where required. • Maintain high standards of client care, ensuring clients are kept informed and advised throughout the legal process. • Contribute to the continued development of the Dispute Resolution department through business development and networking activities. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of litigation procedures and relevant case law. Requirements: • A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in dispute resolution/litigation, ideally with both civil and commercial experience. • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation processes. • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision. • A client-focused approach with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • A proactive attitude toward business development and client relationship management. • Experience mentoring or supervising junior legal staff is desirable.
