Our client, who are a well-recognised manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an Assembly Operator to work at their busy factory based on the outskirts of Newmarket. Duties will include: * Assemble parts or products according to technical drawings, work instructions, or standard operating procedures. * Operate hand tools, power tools, or machinery safely and efficiently. * Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet required standards. * Report any defects, faults, or issues to the supervisor. * Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following health and safety regulations. * Meet daily production targets and deadlines. * Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to achieve team goals. Hours and Pay * Flexible working days: Monday – Friday or Monday – Thursday. * 37 hours per week. * £13.51 per hour – paid weekly. * 2 x 15-minute paid breaks per day 1 x 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Skills and Qualifications * Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production (preferred but not always essential). * Ability to follow instructions, technical drawings, or specifications accurately. * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and problem-solving skills. * Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
