Operations Training & Development Administrator
Location: Cowes
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.81 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: 10-week temporary role - starting ASAP until Christmas (potential to extend into the New Year)

Reports to: Operations Training & Development Manager
We’re seeking an Operations Training & Development Administrator to join our Operations team in Cowes on a 10-week temporary contract, starting as soon as possible and running up until Christmas. There is potential for this role to be extended into the New Year. This position supports the coordination and delivery of training across all operational value streams, ensuring compliance with company standards and contributing to continuous improvement within the site. You’ll be responsible for scheduling training sessions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the transfer of all operational training data to the Learning Management System (LMS).
Responsibilities
* Schedule and organise training sessions, workshops, and assessments, including booking venues, trainers, and equipment.
* Review and update training materials to ensure alignment with the latest company standards.
* Maintain and standardise training records across all operational areas.
* Support the rollout and management of training within the Learning Management System (LMS).
* Implement and support continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities, contributing at least one improvement per month.
* Work collaboratively with Team Leaders, Inspectors, and other colleagues to identify and resolve training-related issues.
* Ensure all work complies with site Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards (BMS/QMS).

Person Specification
* Essential:
o Safety-first mindset.
o Excellent communication and organisational skills.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
o Confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
o Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
o Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
o Demonstrated problem-solving ability (e.g., through Kaizen or similar methods).
* Desirable:
o Interest or experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
o Familiarity with Business Management Systems (BMS) and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
o Experience in a Lean or continuous improvement environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Good level of literacy and numeracy.
* Previous experience in training administration, HR coordination, or operational support roles preferred.
* Confident communicator across all levels of the business.

* Duration: 10 weeks (ASAP start - until Christmas 2025)

* Hours: 37 per week (Monday-Friday)
* Pay Rate: £14.81 per hour (PAYE)
