Overview
The Senior Digital Business Analyst reports to a Lead Business Analyst and provides business analysis expertise to define and validate digital projects, products, and services. The role ensures alignment with DVSA’s strategic objectives and involves maintaining and prioritising the product backlog, coordinating communications, and facilitating the resolution of risks, issues, and changes.
Responsibilities
* Define business, stakeholder, solution functional and non‑functional, and transition requirements for digital projects and services.
* Maintain, refine and prioritise the product backlog, coordinating communications and escalating issues related to the backlog.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of the business analysis capability by supporting, mentoring, and occasionally line‑managing other business analysts.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, testers and other technical colleagues within agile/scrum delivery teams to deliver value to customers and the business.
* Provide documentation and support to teams for digital solutions.
Line Management
The position may include line‑management responsibilities for other business analysts, with a focus on empowering managers to build effective teams.
