Role: Wellbeing Advisor

Hours: 18.75 per week
Salary: Up to £27,724 per annum, pro rata

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct wellbeing assessments and create personalised plans for residents.
2. Promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through one-to-one support and group activities.
3. Organise and lead wellbeing events, workshops, and social activities.
4. Offer guidance on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and healthy living.
5. Maintain accurate wellbeing records and monitor progress.
6. Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enhance resident experience.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
7. Passionate about improving the lives of older people.
8. Experienced in delivering wellbeing, health, or fitness services.
9. Skilled in communication and building positive relationships.
10. Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
11. Ideally qualified in health, fitness, or wellbeing (or willing to work towards this).

The Beacons, located in Broomfield near Chelmsford, is a premier later-living community for individuals aged 55 and over. Managed by Anchor, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for people in later life, The Beacons offers 82 independent-living apartments with excellent communal facilities.
