Sales Coordinator
Location: Poole, Dorset
Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm (1pm finish on Friday)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Benefits: Friendly team environment, free onsite parking, ongoing support and development, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, 1pm finish on Friday, regular social events.
Position Overview
A leading and ever‑growing electronics manufacturing company, established for over 35 years, is recruiting a Sales Coordinator to join their friendly and hardworking team in Poole.
Key Responsibilities
* Build relationships and provide first‑class customer service via telephone, email and face‑to‑face to a varied range of customers.
* Produce quotations and follow them up to ensure they meet customer requirements, amending them as necessary.
* Load sales orders onto the system in an accurate and timely manner.
* Support customers with new product opportunities and keep up to date with upcoming projects.
* Provide relevant information and support to customers regarding orders, quotations, product information, status, lead times, costs and deliveries.
* Manage general office administration duties, keeping the database up to date with customer communications and actions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in Sales Administration, Sales Coordination, Account Management or Internal Sales.
* Excellent telephone manner with the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
* Strong ability to work independently and within a team.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Excellent eye for detail.
* Proficient IT skills: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
