M&E Shift Engineer - Surrey - £50,000 (Rising to £56,000)

Salary: £50,000 (rising to £56,000 upon successful completion of probation)
Hours: Continental Shift Pattern - 12‑hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
* Respond to emergency callouts and fault situations
* Complete logbooks, RAMS, and relevant documentation
* Attend client meetings and provide technical support
* Conduct emergency lighting testing
* Perform electrical works including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, and BMS
* Maintain and operate Building Management Systems (BMS)
* Work on air conditioning systems including DX, chilled water, and adiabatic AHUs
* Maintain generators, controls, and UPS systems
* Work on AC/DC systems including single and three‑phase motors
* Support HV/LV systems maintenance
* Carry out basic building fabric tasks (e.g., toilets, drainage, tiling, sinks)
Requirements:
* Trade qualified with ideally 3+ years' experience in building services
* City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical (or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of building services systems (AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, LV systems)
* Proven fault‑finding ability across mechanical and/or electrical systems
* Excellent communication skills with strong client‑facing experience
