Overview
We are seeking a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in Maternal Medicine and Diabetes.
Responsibilities
* Develop services within your specialised area working in close collaboration with other consultants.
* Cover labour ward, antenatal and general gynaecology clinics, elective and emergency theatres on a rotational basis.
* Actively involved in clinical governance aspects of the directorate and the trust including risk management, complaints, SI investigations, participation in clinical trials and CNST.
* Provide expert input to cases within the central delivery suite that deviate from the normal, give risk analysis and management plans for all specialist cases.
* Provide site-based clinical leadership for antenatal, postnatal care and gynaecology pathways.
