A vacancy exists for a:- TEMPORARY LOGISTICS OPERATIVE – DESPATCH (For a period of up to 3 months) Due to the continued success and growth of the business, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Temporary Logistics Operative to join a busy Despatch Department.
The role is key to our supply chain and includes a variety of tasks, including the picking and packing of products from our warehouse and preparing these to be distributed to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude, who can work well on their own as well as being part of a team.
Primary Responsibilities
* The preparation & packing of customer orders.
* Moving & stacking boxes
* Manually processing relevant paperwork.
* Regular lifting & manoeuvring of boxes is required.
Key Skills And Qualifications
* Experience of working in a Stores/Warehouse environment would be preferable but is not essential as full training can be given to the right applicant.
* Counterbalance forklift truck licence would be preferred.
* The role will involve regular, repetitive lifting and handling of materials and equipment.
* Good communication skills.
* Excellent people skills and a team player.
* Be computer literate.
* A full driving licence would be preferred.

* 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 -12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).
