Unqualified General Teacher – Walsall

Contract: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: £90–£130 per day (PAYE)
We’re supporting a group of Walsall secondary schools looking for reliable, confident and adaptable unqualified teachers to step into general cover roles. If you enjoy working with young people, can keep a classroom calm and purposeful, and want to develop your experience in education, this could be a strong fit.
What the role involves:
1. Supervising pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
2. Maintaining a positive learning environment
3. Managing behaviour and keeping students on task
4. Working with staff to ensure smooth transitions between lessons
5. Supporting the school day where needed
What the schools are looking for:
6. Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth setting
7. Strong communication skills and a steady, approachable manner
8. Confidence leading a classroom
9. Reliability and professionalism
10. A genuine interest in developing within education
