Mott MacDonald is a global engineering, management, and development consultancy with over 20,000 employees across more than 50 countries and 140+ offices. We work across industries to deliver projects that are defined by our future impact and societal value. As a proudly employee‑owned business, we invest in creating a space where everyone can feel empowered, included, and valued. The Water Utilities Division is the centre of excellence for UK and Ireland water and wastewater challenges, delivering advisory services, feasibility studies, and design across the project life cycle.
Overview of the role: Water resources are under pressure from climate change, population growth, and urbanisation. We lead in strategic water resources planning for water companies, regional groups, regulators, and government in the UK and internationally. We help clients assess resilience, identify demand and supply interventions, and develop future plans.
To support growth, we seek motivated strategic thinkers who want to deliver strong outcomes for clients, the environment, and society, and who wish to develop knowledge and experience across our portfolio, including water resource planning, resource options appraisal, demand forecasting, demand management, investment optimisation, and environmental assessment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities to progress technically, managerially, or in client-facing roles.
