ALP Schools provide continuity in learning for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans. We are a provision for learners on the autism spectrum or who have other special educational needs and require quality first teaching strategies to be implemented. We cater for young people in their primary, secondary and post 16 school years. The overarching purpose of our provision is to work with children so that they are able to overcome the barriers to learning that they have previously encountered. We aim to offer flexible, structured and supportive needs led approaches.
We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher Base Lead (Primary: KS1, KS2 and Nurture. The post holder will support the Head Teacher in providing professional leadership for the school that secures its success and improvement, ensuring high quality education for all its learners and improved standards of learning and achievement.
The post holder will lead the learning, engagement and management of learners located within the Base provision (Primary and Nurture Provisions), who for various reasons can not access mainstream learning environments.
The post holder will support teachers and teaching assistants with the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons within our group working model.
