Job Description
3. Plan and execute internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and compliance with policies.
4. Identify areas of risk and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
5. Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior management and stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
7. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure improvements are achieved.
8. Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit methodologies and practices.
9. Act as a point of contact for external auditors during audits or reviews.
10. Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the Retail industry and Accounting & Finance practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Internal Auditor should have:
11. A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
12. Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
13. Experience in internal audit, ideally within the automotive or retail industry.
14. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Proficiency with financial software and tools.
17. DESIRABLE - Experience working on SOX controls
