About the role As part of your responsibilities, you will be tasked with providing personal care, assisting with educational activities, and supporting the overall well-being of students with Complex Care Needs and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Collaborating closely with staff within the school, you'll ensure that students' educational, social, emotional, physical and mental health needs are met. Requirements To be considered for the role of Complex Care Assistant you will: Experience in providing personal care and supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), preferably in a school setting. A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check. A proactive stance towards their profession and responsibilities. A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students with complex needs. Strong adaptability skills to cater to varying student needs and learning styles. Dedication and commitment to fostering student well-being and progress. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Have experience in providing personal care and supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), preferably in a school setting.
