Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, term time only

We're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Special Needs Primary School in Altrincham. The school supports children aged 4-11 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in helping young children learn, grow, and flourish in a nurturing environment.
🔹 The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children with special educational needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging, accessible, and creative lessons tailored to each child's needs.
Encourage independence, social interaction, and confidence through play-based and structured learning.
Support children's emotional regulation and wellbeing in a calm, compassionate way.
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and the SEN team to ensure every child receives the right support.
🔹 You Will Need:
Experience supporting children with SEND (in a school, nursery, or care setting).
A nurturing, positive, and patient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for inclusive education and helping children reach their full potential.
(Desirable) Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate or experience with Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach.
