Job Description
We are seeking a part‑time Office Assistant to support our team within a busy and growing solicitors practice.
This is a varied role ideal for:

As a small firm, the role offers exposure to a broad range of legal and administrative tasks, providing valuable hands‑on experience.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include, but is not limited to:
* General office administration and support
* Assisting fee earners with day‑to‑day tasks
* Opening and maintaining client files (paper and digital)
* Answering phone calls, emails, and assisting with enquiries
* Greeting clients and assisting with appointments
* Handling incoming and outgoing post
* Filing, photocopying files, scanning, and document management
* Liaising with clients to obtain information and documents
* Visiting client properties/place of residence
* Supporting general office organisation and management
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Organised with strong attention to detail
* Friendly, professional, and client‑focused
* Keen and willing to learn
* Comfortable communicating with people in person, over the phone, and via email
* IT competent (Microsoft Office and general systems)
* Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (not essential)
* Studying or interested in law
* Previous administrative or customer service experience
* Previous experience in a legal environment
* Driving licence/Car
