Slitting Operator - Louth (LN11 Area)
Our client, based in the Louth (LN11) area, is a leading European packaging company specialising in flexible and sustainable packaging solutions for some of the world's most respected brands. They are currently recruiting for a Slitting Operator to join their production and warehouse team.
The Role
As a Slitting Operator, you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of Universal Slitting Machines, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up and running Universal Slitting Machines
* Ensuring the slitter operates at optimum efficiency, following set procedures and quality standards
* Removing reels as directed and packaging them in line with customer specifications
* Maintaining full product traceability and compliance to auditable standards
* Recording all inputs and outputs throughout the process
* Ensuring all KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash are achieved on a shift-by-shift basis
* Supporting grinding and pelletisation processes where required
* Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting up to 25kg
