As a Quality Control Engineer, you will analyse customer complaints and internal rejects while conducting robust Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and overseeing the deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). This involves tracking and reporting quality concerns, monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to standards, and utilizing data analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement. You will actively participate in both internal and external audits to uphold quality standards and are responsible for developing and maintaining quality documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial for implementing and maintaining quality processes while collecting and analysing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aids in quality control and process enhancement. Additionally, you will support the implementation of lean and Six Sigma methodologies and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards through internal audits within the manufacturing plant.
Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent
Quality Control Engineer Requirements:
1. Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
2. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and experience working in an ISO compliant environment.
3. Previous experience conducting internal audits and managing compliance systems.
4. Strong knowledge and experience of root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D.
5. Ability to install and manage systems to ensure process input variables are in specification.
6. Knowledge of quality control methodologies such as lean and six sigma is an advantage.
7. Proficiency in using computer software to generate reports, presentations, and data analysis (, PowerPoint, Excel, ERP systems-EFACS).
8. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with quality engineers and cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
10. Qualified internal auditor or lead auditor certification is a plus.
