With several high-profile projects underway, we're expanding our skilled workforce and currently seeking experienced Offshore Piling Hands to join our dynamic team operating out of Dublin.
Job Description:
As an Offshore Piling Hand, you will be a key member of the offshore construction team, responsible for supporting the safe and effective installation of piling operations in marine environments. You'll work closely with riggers, crane operators, and engineers to ensure all piling activities are completed to high standards and within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of piling rigs and associated equipment offshore
Support pile driving and extraction activities
Follow precise instructions from supervisors and engineers on site
Carry out rigging, slinging, and load-handling duties as required
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
Conduct routine inspections and report equipment issues or hazards
Maintain accurate records of daily activities and equipment use
Requirements:
Prior experience in offshore or marine piling operations essential
Valid certifications
Knowledge of marine safety procedures and heavy lifting operations
CPCS or equivalent construction safety training preferred
Physically fit and capable of working in demanding offshore conditions
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions with a safety-first attitude
Willingness to work away for 2 week periods
Desirable:
Experience working on jack-up barges or similar platforms
Crane or lifting certification (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent)
