Maintenance Technician, £45.070 + 15% shift allowance, Irvine
Responsibilities:
* Perform safe and effective reactive and planned maintenance on production plant and equipment, ensuring both production and site downtime are minimised
* Complete all routine maintenance tasks on schedule
* Install new equipment as required
* Interrogate, fault-find, and resolve issues across company equipment and systems
* Actively participate in summer and winter overhaul programmes, ensuring all plant machinery is serviced, repaired and maintained appropriately
* Engage fully in continuous improvement initiatives, meetings, and assigned tasks
* Complete work permits and ensures all duties are carried out in full compliance with health and safety standards
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels to support wider business objectives
* Contribute to special projects when required
Requirements:
* Time-served, multi-skilled maintenance professional, ideally holding 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* Experience working within a production environment and operating on shift patterns
* Desirable knowledge of PLCs, servo drives, robotics, and line automation systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to prioritise tasks and meet demanding deadlines
* High attention to detail, strong standards, and a results-driven mindset
* Flexible and willing to work shifts
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both production and maintenance teams as well as management
* Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with the capability to follow direction as needed
* Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently using own initiative
* Proven experience working with the systems noted above
