Production Planner / MP&L Coordinator

Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
Protec is continuing to grow and as a result we are looking to appoint a Production Planner / MP&L Coordinator to bring structure, organisation and control into a fast paced manufacturing environment.
This is not a maintenance planning role. We need someone who can take ownership of planning, materials and system processes, challenge where needed and help drive operational efficiency across the business.
You will play a key role in moving the business from spreadsheet based planning into a fully integrated ERP environment using Redthorn ERP.
The Role
Production Planning & Scheduling
1. Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules
2. Sequence work orders across fabrication, machining and assembly
3. Manage capacity planning and highlight bottlenecks
4. Work closely with production to ensure achievable plans
