Location: Based at Hexham, with some home working
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed)
Contract: Permanent
Northumberland National Park Authority is expanding its fundraising team and seeking a passionate individual to help secure support for our vital work. As Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in developing compelling grant applications to support our conservation and engagement projects.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team in a highly rewarding environment. You’ll work with supportive colleagues to create persuasive funding proposals and help build lasting relationships with trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies. With significant prospect research already completed, you’ll be able to make an immediate impact.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:
Demonstrable experience in fundraising or communications
Proven ability to create compelling proposals and funding opportunities
An enterprising attitude with the creativity to develop strong cases for support
Excellent planning and prioritisation skills, able to meet tight deadlines
A good understanding of funder expectations and experience in managing relationships effectively
