We are seeking an experienced Head of Asset Management, Facilities & Maintenance to lead the delivery of a safe, compliant, and high-performing estate. About the Role This is a senior leadership position responsible for both strategic direction and operational delivery across asset management, facilities, and maintenance services. You will ensure the estate is safe, secure, and fully compliant, underpinned by accurate asset data and a long-term investment programme that drives condition, resilience, efficiency, and value for money. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Governance Lead the Asset, Facilities & Maintenance function, setting direction and performance standards Establish governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks Provide senior advice on estate strategy, risk, and investment Asset Management & Planning Maintain accurate asset data, registers, surveys, and drawings Lead estate strategy, State of the Estate reporting, and 10-year programmes of work Develop masterplans, investment pipelines, and business cases Maintenance & Operations Oversee planned, reactive, and statutory maintenance delivery Drive performance, compliance, and a shift toward planned maintenance Lead contractor and supply chain performance and value-for-money outcomes Systems, Compliance & Reporting Oversee CAFM/Helpdesk systems to ensure effective service delivery Ensure full statutory compliance, certification, and audit readiness Deliver performance, compliance, and improvement reporting About You Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent) in Facilities Management, Estates, Engineering, Construction or similar Chartered membership (RICS, IWFM, CIOB, CIBSE or equivalent) Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance best practice, and contract management (NEC experience desirable) Experience: 5 years’ senior leadership experience managing multi-site estates Proven delivery of asset data governance, surveys, and estate strategies Experience developing long-term investment plans and business cases Strong supply chain and contractor management experience Experience with CAFM systems and performance reporting Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable plans Strong operational control and risk management capability Commercial awareness and governance expertise Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Analytical, proactive, and continuous improvement focused Why Join Us?
