Role Summary
This role will report to the CS Manager while working closely with the Head of Infrastructure. You will assist in the day-to-day management of our infrastructure and provide support to the service desk.
Your responsibilities will include managing patching and endpoint security, administering Active Directory for user and group management, and ensuring the proper handling and renewal of SSL certificates for secure communication across systems. A strong understanding of Windows administration is essential, along with experience in maintaining and supporting critical infrastructure systems. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and implementing best practices for securing systems and networks.
You will be expected to carry out key tasks such as server migrations, security patches, and infrastructure maintenance tasks outside of standard working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the daily management of infrastructure operations
* Troubleshoot and resolve support cases, including memory issues and server crashes
* Manage patching and endpoint security for all devices
* Administer Active Directory for user and group management
* Work closely with internal teams to maintain system stability and performance
* Provide internal support for hardware and software related issues
* Develop and implement Security Solutions for supported systems
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with AWS systems
* Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
* Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases
* Experience in Windows administration and endpoint management
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory and patch management
* Familiarity with SSL certificates and managing secure communication protocols
* Knowledge of warehouse management and/or supply chain operations
Requirements:
* Knowledge of the SQL Language
* Unix Commands
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work outside of standard working hours when required
