Job Description
The role of Bookkeeper will include but duties are not limited to:
* Manage and record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
* Prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
* Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
* Maintain an organised and up-to-date financial filing system.
* Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* An AAT qualification (or equivalent)
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* A positive attitude towards collaboration and teamwork.
