Base pay range – Land Base Services and Day Services role supporting 37.5 hours per week, with the role working 5 days a week, Mon-Fri 08:30-16:30, some weekends and evenings required to meet service needs.
Responsibilities
* This role will have a strong focus on the continued development of our Allotment & Polytunnel area.
* Continue to support sustainable allotment growing sessions for the Farm Shop, providing produce for resident animals as well as exhibiting at shows.
* Experience and knowledge with allotments and growing would be highly desirable.
* Ensure care plans are up to date and risk assessments are completed and reviewed as required. Provide leadership and supervision to Support Workers.
Qualifications / Experience
* Garden maintenance, allotment horticulture, or conservation would be desirable.
* A positive approach, a can-do attitude, being a strong team player, and forward thinking.
* Ability to develop new ideas and work with minimal supervision at times are essential.
