The Role
In this role, you will take responsibility for overseeing projects from inception through to completion. This includes engaging with Principal Designers, Principal Contractors and Building Control to ensure full compliance with CDM regulations. You will review feasibility layouts, assess their suitability, and progress them into complete architectural and design packages, while also compiling project budgets and securing the necessary internal approvals.
You will prepare detailed project programmes in collaboration with the appointed main contractor, as well as conduct pre-start and ongoing site meetings to monitor progress. The role requires coordinating and supervising all aspects of each project, working closely with internal departments, direct contractors and the main contractor to ensure smooth delivery. Ultimately, you will be accountable for making sure that projects are completed legally and safely, within the agreed timescale and to the approved budget.
Skills You Need
* Experienced Refurbishment & Fit-Out Project Manager
with at least 2 years’ experience preferably within the leisure industry
handling multiple projects at once.
* Proven track record in delivering projects.
* A broad knowledge of construction and fit-out processes
and fire safety systems.
* Strong IT skills are essential along with excellent
communication and organisational skills.
* Must be fully mobile with own vehicle covered by business
insurance and be willing to travel and stay away when required.
