Fabric Team Supervisor\n\nHealthcare Engineering\n\nCentral London\n\nSalary Guide: £55,000\n\nOur client is a national FM Service Provider who are recruiting for a Fabric Team Supervisor to lead the Fabric Team (Plumbing, Fabric, Handyperson) on a large Hospital estate in Central London. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.\n\nIdeally the successful candidate will also have experience of M&E engineering with a bias towards mechanical. Previous management experience would also be advantageous.\n\nThe role of Fabric Team Supervisor:\n\n * Provide leadership to engineering team and ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.\n\n * Ensure development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth are met and exceeded.\n\n * Ensuring customer focus within all areas of operational activities and that effective relationship are maintained with key client contacts.\n\n * Responsible for day-to-day supervision of the Fabric Team, working alongside the operations and maintenance of all mechanical plant services, primarily PPM and reactive works.\n\n * To direct, instruct and supervise all contractors as well as subcontractors, insuring staff compliance with working practice.\n\n * To ensure the shift log system is updated and complete and the subcontractor visits are logged and any major incidents /problems are attended to.\n\n * To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices with emergency/contingency procedures with critical systems.\n\n * The upkeep of O&M manuals, test equipment as build drawings.\n\n * Building plants must be operated to in accordance with the manufacture instructions.
Within the original design specification.\n\n * To assist, produce and construct the current CEWA’s and risk assessment which are used throughout all facilities and sites, ensure that all work is inspected prior to closure of the work\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\n * Mechanical apprenticeship or time served – desirable\n\n * Experience working with building management systems including fault finding\n\n * Experience of leading a team of engineers / technicians\n\n * FM experience advantageous.\n\n * Health & Safety Qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSH
