Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Salesforce Lead to take a strategic, advisory role in reviewing and improving our current Salesforce setup. Salesforce has been embedded in the business for many years and operates within a highly customised Sales Cloud environment.
The focus of this role is not hands‑on development, but rather auditing, diagnosing, and shaping a clear commercial roadmap, bridging the gap between Salesforce’s capabilities and how it is currently used by the business.
Contract Length: Initial 6 months
Commitment: 3 days per week
Location: Fully remote (with occasional travel to the Netherlands if required)

Key Responsibilities
* Audit the existing Salesforce Sales Cloud setup, including a highly customised environment implemented over a long period.
* Map commercial and B2B pain points across sales and commercial teams.
* Identify gaps between system capability and user knowledge, adoption, or processes.
* Translate commercial requirements into clear Salesforce opportunities and priorities.
* Define a structured, strategic Salesforce roadmap aligned to commercial objectives.
* Partner closely with a specialist Salesforce agency or consultancy to shape and guide delivery.
* Act as a senior commercial and Salesforce lead, aligning stakeholders and driving clarity.
* Provide recommendations and direction rather than executing day‑to‑day configuration or development.
Required Experience & Skills
* Strong experience in B2B commercial environments.
* Deep knowledge of Salesforce, particularly Sales Cloud within complex or customised setups.
* Proven experience auditing CRM systems and operating models.
* Ability to connect commercial challenges to CRM and process improvements.
* Experience working with, managing, or partnering with Salesforce agencies or consultancies.
* Confident stakeholder management skills, including senior commercial leaders.
* Comfortable working autonomously in a part‑time, contract role.
