Position Overview
Facility: Bismarck Medical Center
Location: Bismarck, ND
Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Starting Rate: $30.00 - $46.50
Pay Info: Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000 with a commitment
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing residents and patients, using innovative treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks. We’re looking for individuals who are:

* Compassionate and enjoy working closely with people.
In this role, you may also supervise assistants, aides, and students, while collaborating with providers, case managers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Your Responsibilities
* Conduct evaluations and provide tailored interventions for residents and patients.
* Assess abilities and develop realistic therapy goals.
* Document patient information and establish therapeutic plans.
* Educate patients to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
* Incorporate current research into daily treatment practices.
* Provide ongoing education and training to peers in your areas of expertise.
What We’re Looking For
* Appropriate education level in accordance with state licensure.
* Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
* Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 60 days of employment.
* New graduates in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota may apply with a temporary license.
