Children’s Social Worker, Fostering IRO, Wigan
Pay rate: £40 per hour
Contract role: Fostering Reviewing Officer
We are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker in the Wigan area.
Responsibilities
* Have responsibility for the process of reviewing Wigan Children’s Services approved foster carers by organising, advising, and chairing the statutory reviews of foster carers.
* Provide advice to foster carers and practitioners, and hold a scrutiny and challenge role for ensuring effective assessment, CPD/training, support, and supervision, statutory visiting and achieving positive outcomes for children in their care.
