What’s on Offer Salary up to £30,000 per annum 26 days holiday your birthday Christmas shutdown bank holidays All travel expenses reimbursed from home Group performance bonus scheme Private medical scheme Retail discounts and wellbeing perksAbout the Role As an Employability Skills Trainer, you will deliver engaging, classroom-based training across a variety of Level 1 subjects, including: Employability Skills Customer Service Mental Health Awareness Business AdministrationYou will support and motivate learners – many of whom are unemployed or from ESOL backgrounds – guiding them towards positive progression. Delivery will take place across multiple centres in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas (including Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire) and may include remote sessions via Teams and online platforms. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions in classroom and online settings Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and support to learners Set clear targets and provide regular feedback to monitor learner progress Support learners academically and pastorally, raising aspirations and promoting positive outcomes Track and maintain accurate records, including enrolment, attendance, and learner needs Continuously evaluate and improve your own delivery and learner outcomes Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant funding requirementsEssential Skills & Experience Recognised Assessor Award (e.g., TAQA or CAVA) Recognised teaching qualification (highly desirable) Experience delivering employability or vocational training Strong classroom management and communication skills Understanding of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework Experience supporting learners from diverse backgrounds (e.g., NEET, ESOL, unemployed) Good IT skills, including confidence with digital learning platforms Full driving licence and access to own transportThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that invests in its staff and makes a real difference to learners’ lives.
