I’m working with a highly regarded firm who have a new opportunity to welcome a Family Solicitor into their Nantwich office, with a clear focus on public childcare matters and Legal Aid work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or further strengthen their experience in care proceedings within a supportive and well-structured team. You’ll gain strong advocacy exposure and hands-on responsibility while working alongside experienced public law practitioners.
The Role;
You will manage your own caseload of publicly funded children matters, including care proceedings, supervision orders, emergency protection orders and related applications.
The role involves Legal Aid case management, regular court attendance, and close liaison with counsel, guardians, experts and local authorities. You will be trusted with responsibility while benefiting from accessible supervision and mentoring where required.
What They’re Looking For;
Qualified Solicitor or CILEX (1–4 years PQE)
Experience in public childcare and Legal Aid matters
Confident advocate with strong case management skills
Organised, resilient and empathetic approach
