Personal Care Assistant – Swindon

We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistants to support students with special educational needs in schools across Swindon. You’ll play an essential role in helping young people with complex needs access education, ensuring their dignity and independence are always respected, meaning they can access their learning and thrive!
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing personal care, including pad changes and physical support (hoisting, moving, handling)
* Supporting students with medical needs such as blood sugar checks and administering medication (training provided)
* Building positive, trusting relationships with students and staff
* Encouraging independence and celebrating small wins every day
* Support students in lesson, helping them to access their learning and supporting the class teacher
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in care, health, or support work (residential, community, or hospital settings)
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
* Willingness to undertake training in specialist SEN and medical support
