About the Role
We're seeking an exceptional Senior Data Manager to lead data strategy across our Trust, driving school improvement and supporting leaders with powerful insights. You'll ensure the integrity, analysis, and interpretation of key data from student attainment and attendance to SEND and interventions across all phases, from EYFS to secondary. With your expertise in building clear, impactful dashboards (Power BI or similar), you'll transform complex data into actionable intelligence. This is a pivotal role, connecting academy operations with Trust-wide strategy.

Responsibilities Include:
Data Management and Integrity
* Oversee and manage the collection and input of all student data, ensuring its accuracy and timeliness across all academies.
* Develop and implement data management procedures and policies to ensure compliance with legislation and quality standards.
* Manage appropriate permission levels and version control to maintain the integrity of the data within the Management Information System (MIS)
Data Analysis and Reporting
* Conduct comprehensive analysis of complex data to identify trends and priority areas that will help raise standards and improve performance across the academies.
* Produce detailed, comprehensive, and understandable reports for Headteachers and Senior Leadership Teams (SLT), advising them on the data's implications and assisting in reporting to Governors and Ofsted
* Provide key data to the SLT and teaching staff to ensure they are equipped with accurate and timely information to inform and drive improvements in standards of performance.
Team Leadership and Development
* Line manage and provide specialist advice and support to individual Data Managers and their teams
* Support the development and use of the Trust's MIS, including providing high-quality training to staff to ensure the data management service runs efficiently
* Set and manage goals for the data teams, providing performance monitoring and feedback.
Strategic Support
* Support the strategic development of the Trust's MIS, establishing effective processes for data analysis and interpretation
* Provide strategic support to middle and senior leaders on how to access and analyze data within the MIS
* Contribute to the development of a Trust-wide improvement plan for data and the use of the MIS.
