The Role Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will liaise closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams across the UK and overseas. Key Responsibilities: Manage small to large engineering projects from order through to delivery and commissioning Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, proactively managing risks and issues Liaise with clients on commercial, engineering, quality, and production matters Support and develop supplier relationships within the global supply chain Expedite manufacturing phases and monitor progress against project milestones Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and contractual variations Contribute to business planning and continuous improvement initiatives Provide aftersales and site support as required What We're Looking For Essential Experience: Experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work both independently and within a team Desirable Experience: Background in fabricated systems or large manufactured products Experience with Gas Turbines, Renewables, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, or Waste-to-X Commercial awareness and experience managing suppliers and budgets Skills and Attributes Highly organised and deadline-driven Analytical and solution-focused mindset Strong communicator at all levels Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Qualifications Essential: Diploma (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing Desirable: Degree-level qualification (2:1 or above preferred) Other Requirements Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas as required Current UK resident and fluent in English Able to work out of hours occasionally to support customer needs We invite suitably experienced candidates to apply by following the appropriate links or by contacting Recruit 2 You directly who are acting as an employment agency for this hire.
