Location: Oxford, UK (commutable from Bicester, Thame, Abingdon, Faringdon, Witney, Carterton, Bampton, Kidlington)
Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Overview: Our client is a leading electronics products manufacturer, who are experiencing rapid growth, and value motivated individuals looking to progress their career. They are looking for a Production Planner to assist with their increased workload. This role will be responsible for liaising with multiple departments, ensuring timeframes and customer expectations are met.
Role and Responsibilities
 * Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer delivery deadlines and internal manufacturing capacity
 * Ensure all products are manufactured and dispatched on time by planning and coordinating production activities effectively
 * Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure alignment across departments
 * Review incoming orders and provide accurate, achievable delivery dates
 * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to support uninterrupted production
 * Identify potential production bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to maintain workflow efficiency
 * Generate and analyse production reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
 * Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and improving product quality
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
 * Experience working in a regulated or structured environment
 * Comfort collaborating with technical and administrative teams
 * A background in process improvement
 * The ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure
 * Familiarity with planning or production systems (ERP or similar) is a bonus
