Based in the historic city of York, Stockton Hall Hospital is looking for a Newly Qualified Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse for our 112 bedded Forensic medium secure psychiatric hospital, which cares for both mental illness and learning disability patients, which includes an Autistic Spectrum Disorder service and a female service.

As a Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse, your role will include but not be limited to:
6. Assessing and monitoring the needs of patients
7. Collaboratively planning the care needs of the patient
8. Developing positive behavioural support plans with patients
9. Being an active part of the multi-disciplinary team
10. Administering medications
To do this you will need the following:
11. Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a Valid NMC PIN
12. To be a team player
13. To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
14. Good listening and rapport building ability
15. To be able to organize and prioritise your time
