This role requires hands-on expertise in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring all work complies with environmental and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of package sewage treatment plants (STPs).
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related faults.
* Install and commission new STPs, ensuring compliance with UK discharge standards.
* Conduct water quality tests and adjust system parameters for optimal performance.
* Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
* Provide technical support and training to clients on STP operations.
* Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in wastewater treatment, sewage treatment, or related engineering fields.
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of aeration systems, pumps, blowers, and control panels.
Required Skills
* NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering (or equivalent).
* A valid UK driving license (travel to sites required).
Preferred Skills
CSCS card, Confined Space Training, First Aid.
