We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistants to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents.
Key Responsibilities.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout residents' rooms, communal areas, and service spaces.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with infection control and health & safety standards.
Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and linens.
Ensure bedding and towels are regularly changed and maintained to a high standard.
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate team.
Work collaboratively with care and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless and supportive environment.
Build positive relationships with residents, always respecting their privacy and preferences.
What We're Looking For
Previous domestic, housekeeping, or cleaning experience, ideally in a care home, hotel, or healthcare setting.
A strong understanding of infection control and hygiene best practices.
A friendly, respectful, and compassionate approach to working in a care environment.
Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends if required.
