Due to continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a commercial thinkingmanager / assistant manager for our employment taxes team, ideally ATT and / or CTA qualified with the motivation to continue to develop their career with a forward‑thinking, friendly and inclusive firm of accountants and business advisers. You will have a passion for client service with a keen interest to further your own personal and professional development.
Responsibilities
* Pro-actively build and maintain robust client relationships.
* Ensure timely and accurate tax advice for exceptional client service.
* Offer specialist advice on all UK domestic employment tax facets, including PAYE, National Insurance, and benefits in kind - International expereince helpful
* Handle everything from P11Ds and PSA returns to advising on benefits, salary sacrifice, CIS, IR35, and status assessments.
* Assist with tax due diligence, identifying employment tax implications in target companies / groups
* Assist with share option schemes (note : JCK doesn't handle legal documentation), predominantly EMI.
* Create and execute growth share strategies.
* Aid in tax valuations for share options and growth shares.
* Offer guidance on employment-related securities (ERS) and returns.
* Stay updated on employment tax legislation and best practices.
* Conduct training for the team, including coaching, mentoring and development of junior team members.
* Identify and act on new business opportunities, primarily from the JCK client base.
Key requirements
* ACA / ACCA / ATT / CTA qualified with the ability to demonstrate strong corporate tax technical skills, particularly with employment tax experience;
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
* A team player – having the ability to work with the wider tax team and other members of the firm;
* Strong technical skills, with experience accross diverse sectors and clients, with a keen eye for detail and continuous improvement.
