Role: Chef Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to oversee a small catering team and manage the day-to-day running of a busy on-site kitchen. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take the lead on food preparation, service delivery, and operational standards.
About the Role:
You’ll manage all aspects of the catering operation — from food production and team supervision to paperwork, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities for a Chef Manager:
Lead and support a small kitchen team to deliver excellent food and service
Oversee menu planning, ordering, and stock control
Ensure all documentation and food safety records are completed accurately and on time
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients
Ensure the kitchen and service areas are kept clean, organised, and well presentedRequirements for a Chef Manager:
Previous experience as a Chef Manager or Senior Chef leading a small team
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum required)
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
Chef whites, knives, and safety shoes (or suitable chef footwear) required
Excellent communication and leadership skillsWhat We Offer:
