Introduction: We are an esteemed education agency representing a forward-thinking Secondary School in Harrow, London. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join the school's support team.
Responsibilities: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, providing essential support to students facing behavioural challenges. Key responsibilities include:
Individual Support: Work one-on-one with students to address behavioural issues, implementing strategies for improvement and personal development.
Group Interventions: Facilitate group sessions aimed at promoting positive behaviour and social skills.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement behaviour plans.
Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and monitor the progress of students, adjusting interventions as necessary.
Crisis Management: Provide support during challenging situations, employing de-escalation techniques when required.Requirements:
Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role within an educational setting is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and understanding towards the diverse needs of students.
