Days 7:00 am to 10:00pm 15 hour shift.
Shift Pattern 1 on two days off.

The Role
We are looking for caring, compassionate, and energetic Residential Support Workers to join our team. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and you'll have the chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
You'll be supporting children with a range of needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), autism, and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
* Provide nurturing, person-centred care to children and young people, aged 7 to 18
* Support daily routines including meals, school runs, activities, and community trips.
* Act as a positive role model, helping young people build trust, develop life skills, and improve social and communication abilities.
* Encourage fun, engaging activities such as cinema trips, swimming, days out, or even holidays.
* Assist with care plans, risk assessments, and record-keeping to ensure consistency and quality.
* Work as part of a supportive team, completing handovers and maintaining clear communication.
* Above all, create a safe, positive, and fun environment where children feel valued and supported.
Skills & Experience
* Experience working in children's residential care is desirable.
* A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
* Good written and spoken English for record-keeping.
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
