GDi are looking for a Trainee Project Controller who will support the planning, coordination and monitoring of operational and project activities.
Key Activities and Accountabilities:
* Support the development of operational plans under the guidance of senior team members.
* Assist with scheduling and resourcing of jobs/work, learning to manage timelines and resource allocation.
* Help coordinate logistics for personnel and materials in line with project schedules.
* Maintain and update work plans and assist in tracking progress against key milestones.
* Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers to support project delivery and gain exposure to cross-discipline coordination.
* Assist in populating and maintaining the Work Management System accurately.
* Support procurement and subcontracting processes by tracking delivery timelines and learning procurement protocols.
* Provide assistance with client communications under supervision.
* Help in gathering information and documentation for bids and proposals.
* Learn about client and contract management by supporting experienced staff.
* Assist in preparing and collating reports for clients as required.
* Assist in populating monthly cost control summaries for projects and clients.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
* Willingness to learn and develop within a project control environment; some exposure to administrative, coordination, or project-related work is beneficial.
Preferred:
* Currently studying towards or recently completed a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline; any prior experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous but not essential.
